The Academy offers four formal FM qualifications that create a complete learning path (NQF 5-7) in the Facility Management field.
THE HIGHER CERTIFICATE IN FACILITY MANAGEMENT (NQF LEVEL 5)
This programme is intended for Facility Management supervisors and managers who are involved within the broad field of FM and who wish to expand their specialised knowledge and skills. The focus is on all the FM functions in the organisation, the FM tools required and Service Level Agreements.
- You can enroll for this programme if you have matric, or if you did not complete matric and you are over 23 years of age and have some experience in the field of FM.
- All the modules are offered in one calendar year. If you are studying part time, it is advisable to take the programme over 2 years. (You have a maximum of three years to complete it).
THE ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN FACILITY MANAGEMENT (NQF LEVEL 6)
This programme is intended for supervisors and managers who are involved in the broad field of FM and who wish to expand their specialised knowledge and skills. Students can choose specialisation in either Maintenance Management or Soft Services Management.
- You can enroll if you hold a previous NQF 5 qualification.
- The modules are offered over 2 years. (You have a maximum of 4 years to complete the programme).
THE ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN FACILITY MANAGEMENT (NQF LEVEL 7)
This is our degree-level qualification that prepares students to be leaders in the FM industry and to manage FM departments in any organisation.
- You can enroll if you hold a previous NQF 6 qualification and five years of FM-related experience.
- The modules are offered over 2 years. (You have a maximum of 4 years to complete the programme).
